Lost wax casting is perhaps one of the oldest known metal-forming techniques. Dating back to about 6,000 years, it is still a widely used technique employed in the production of jewelry, and in fields such as dentistry and art. The industrial form of lost wax casting, which is also known as investment casting, is a common way in case you want to create metal parts with precision, which is required a lot in fields such as manufacturing and engineering.
